Vintage Beehive clear glass bowl grinder blender mixer top small ridged

Description

I originally picked up this item thinking it was a cute tiny bowl.
When I saw the ridge-slot on each side I realized it must lock into something.
A nut grinder?  A coffee grinder? a small topper for a blender?
I have tried many searches and not been able to find it on eBay.
I am hoping the person who has been hunting for one of these will fill me in and get the item they want!
so small glass bowl with honeycomb pattern.
clear glass.
no chips or cracks.
two ridges near top lip on opposite sides.
roughly 3" top diameter, about 2-3/4" tall.
