Antique Red Banded Agate Tambour / Crochet Hook<br>English * Circa 1880<br>This antique piece has a smoothly polished handle carved of gorgeous red banded agate. The mount and thumbscrew are gilded brass and it screws down to clamp the gilded hook in place. This allows the hook size to be changed but it just has the one hook.<br>The agate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks<br>or other damage. The tiny hook is intact and is about an American steel size 12.
